The Reverend Terry W. Bull is Rector of the Church of the Advent.  He began his ministry with us in 2001.  In addition to a love of being a Priest and father, he also loves being a musician, playing with several musical groups in the area.

Fr. Terry holds a BA in Foreign Languages from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary.
He has also studied Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Southern California.
The Reverend Penny Foster is our Deacon.  Deacon Penny has a long history of service at Advent.  She is retired from Canisius College, loves working with Advent's youngest parishioners, and frequently assists with wildlife education programs.

Joanne Jasinski is Advent's Organist and Choir Director

Joanne Jasinski is a native of WNY and graduated from the State University School of Music at Fredonia, where she was the first recipient of the Performer's Certificate in Organ.  She earned her Master of Music degree in organ performance from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, where she was the graduate assistant in organ.  At Cincinnati, she was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award.  Additional studies have taken place at the Conservatorium der Stadt Wien, Vienna, Austria and the Haarlem Organ Institute, The Netherlands.  Her teachers have included John Hofmann, Robera Gary, David Craighead and Russell Saunders.   Miss Jasinski, a past Dean of the Buffalo Chapter of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, is retired after a long career as a music teacher with Tonawanda Public Schools, and is organist for Church of the Advent.
